A wonderful coastal house for memorable, happy holidays and relaxing short breaks in magical North Norfolk.

Stunning, panoramic views overlooking Blakeney quayside and its marshes are the main attraction of our period home. Counting House has everything you need for a luxury self catering holiday by the coast.

Situated in a conservation area, and set back slightly from the quayside on Mariners Hill, coastal walks or runs really do begin from our doorstep.  When weather allows, throw open the bi-fold doors to relax and watch coastal life go by. During chilly times it's a joy to sit in front of the logburner and take in our views in cosy comfort.

A perfect house for families or friends and we are happy to offer 'just for two' rates when we can for that romantic get away.

An upside down, three bedroom, three bathroom house, it's designed to make the most of amazing views and comfortably accommodates up to six guests. 

A charming main bedroom has a king bed with an ensuite shower room and there are two super twin rooms plus a further bathroom and a shower room.  Appliances in our kitchen/diner include Fisher & Paykel dishdrawers, a larder fridge/freezer, four slice toaster and wine fridge with breakfast table for six.  The spacious sitting area with quayside and marsh views also has a dining table for six.

An adjacent sheltered garden is mainly terrace offering a sunny spot providing a breakfast table "just for two", a larger table for six or more, garden umbrellas, deckchairs, further seating, a BBQ and lighting for use in the evenings.  We also have two parking spaces - valuable assets in Blakeney!

As one young guest wrote, "you can watch ducks, boats and birds every day!" and another repeat visitor "pictures don't do this wonderful, comfortable house justice".
